Good friends come and go

For me, love never changes

Gone, I still feel you

I love your ideas! I think this is what we have to do with administrators now. Just say, "Oh, that's interesting, but here's what I'm doing instead." When you are a specialist in something and they don't even teach (anymore or ever), it's nice to have a conversation, but in what other profession would they try to control the specifics of what you do from day to day?

I have a little update on this. I received a note from her on her graduation day. I had sent her a gift, so she started off thanking me, and then continued:

"I also wanted to thank you for all of the assignments in my classes you have been helping me on. I appreciate the time you put in for me. You're the best tutor I have ever had. I wish you the best. Thanks again! "

I guess teachers do get bonuses after all.
