I would like to know the inclusive terms we can use instead of some of these. Tone-deaf also means someone who is unable to distinguish between pitches in music. How do we say this now? Getting rid of expressions just because they contain the word deaf or blind, when everyone knows that is not what they are referring to, seems a little “PC.” I am autistic, one of several in my family, and I work with students with various disabilities. I would also like to point out that non-verbal is a problem for some because they are very verbal in listening, writing, typing, etc. They prefer non-speaking. Please keep updating this article, it is nice to have.
