I'm so unclear on the difference between ADHD and autism. I'm self-diagnosed autistic and my children are both diagnosed autistic. One was given the ADHD label, too. Sometimes I think ADHD was given to the wrong child! I definitely see it as one big "neurodiverse" condition, that - as Gary says - involves several factors and comes out differently in each person. However, all the characteristics of ADHD I've read have been listed in other places as characteristics of autism. I would love to find out why Gary chose to self-identify as both.
